Car headlights and projectors seem to have something in common, but one is used to illuminate the night and the other is used to project image information. With the development of car light technology, car companies also have more brilliant capital in headlights. Projection headlights are high-performance headlights that were originally only used in luxury cars. They can use very bright high-intensity discharges (HID) and light-emitting diodes (LEDs), but they are a bit unsafe to use with traditional reflector headlights.

How the projection headlight works

The basic components of a projection headlight are:

LED: A semiconductor device that converts electrical energy into visible light, and has good shock resistance. The advantages of LED headlights are their energy saving and environmental protection. Their energy consumption is only 1/10 or less of that of halogen headlights, and their life is longer than that of xenon headlights, but the overall price will be higher than that of xenon headlights.
Angel Eye Headlight: Angel Eye is an aperture that was first applied to BMW. Its function is driving lights, which is what we usually call "small lights" (light control levers are twisted), and can also be used as decoration. At present, angel eyes are divided into three types: cold cathode tube type, whose material is glass, and the structure is similar to fluorescent lamps; light guide fiber type, the main representative is BMW's angel eye, this type of aperture uses light guide fiber; LED type, uses Light-emitting diodes emit light. Projection headlight and reflection headlight
Since most headlights use either reflectors or projection headlight designs, it's natural to wonder which one is better. Every year more and more vehicles are equipped with projection headlights. You can also refurbish old vehicles with a projector housing, but should you do this?
Projection headlights have many advantages and also some disadvantages.
Brighter than reflective headlights;
